arrangements haven’t been made at the time of booking please contact Mark: 616-292-6215 or Amy: 616-293-3639.

Beer garden ambience string lights

There is a power button in the barn where you can turn on the bike garden lights.
See photos. Please turn off with this same button as you turn in for the night.

Firewood and fire locations

We will always have a supply of firewood handy for your use. There is a charge for the firewood. $5 a bucket load. You can pay this fee at the QR code near firewood.
Fires only allowed in designated firepits. No fires allowed anywhere else on the
property.

Fire starters and matches can be found in the trash and can sheds out of the elements. While we want to help you get your fire started, we can’t guarantee match location and availability from previous guests.

Camp Chef Griddle Instructions

If grill was stored near building wall, please move away from wall before using. Turn gas valve to “open”, and please remember to turn gas valve to “close” when finished. There will be cleaning scrapers supplied on the grill, please scrape the grill clean while still hot after use. Scrape to the front cleanout and push the oil and debris into grease tray. Please wash all and any cooking utensils used and return to grill for next guest. Again, be sure gas is off at valve when finished.

Outdoor Gas Fire Table (Lookout Lodge only)

Lookout lodge comes equipped with a round table on the deck! This table has a fireplace under the metal cover. Feel free to enjoy the fire ambiance! To turn on, there is a handle underneath – carefully pull outward and the propane tank will roll out. Twist the gas valve to “open” on the tank. There is a handle just like a grill for opening the gas valve. BE SURE LID IS OFF ON TOP OF TABLE BEFORE IGNITING. Click the ignition button next to gas valve! Please only use flame on medium since you are on a covered deck. NO COOKING OR MARSHMALLOWS ON FIRE PLEASE.

Please don’t forget to turn off gas on the tank valve when finished for your safety.

Gear Storage

If you brought a bike or adventure gear feel free to store it in the cabin’s basement. The exterior door is out back. The room is under surveillance for your safety. There is also a workshop down there if your adventure gear needs fixing!
